Aaron's Family Story

My family story
So it is the day before the new year and we are heading to a
park. We had dinner when we  got there. Dinner was a really
tasty BBQ, we had chips, sausages, prawn kebabs and burgers
yum!. After dinner we had play time.
The first game we played was tag then we played other games
that I did not count. At some point someone called out desert
and most of the kids went for desert, which was jelly, ice-cream
and cake. The adults talked so long they missed midnight and
talked till one in the morning, at that point we were exhausted
so we started heading to bed.
The next morning we got up from bed at 10:47 and started with
breakfast. Some adult started coffee brewing and it smelled!

After breakfast everyone started to go home.

Bella's Breaking News

WALT To explain about the stolen stars of Matariki. This video was very fun to make. It was also quite hard because I had to keep pausing it while I was using screencastify. There are a couple of moments where I glitched out but that's ok. Next time to be BTB I would maybe have a bit better acting because it wasn't the best.

Clara's Interview with Nana Marlene

This week one of our activities for literacy medals is The nobody news slideshow. Where you have to interview your grandparents or someone around the same age as your grandparents. I decided to interview Marlene (Bella's Grandma). I really enjoyed this activity because I know more what it's like to be kinda old and be in self-isolation. I think this was a pretty easy activity because all you had to do was ask them the questions and then write the answers down onto the slide.
