Hunter- Capture the flag
The hardest part of the video is trying to get everyone to be doing what the script says. The easiest part was filming because all you had to do was have the camera facing the right way. If you look at the Capture the flag post you will be able to read the rules.

Eden- Before and After
Kia Ora everyone! How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful day! So we are focusing on art for literacy and I'm finally on task 5! So task 5 is when you have to create a piece of art, dance, drama, or anything to do with art and we have to make it with something to do with something that you want to change in this world. So the picture that I made meant before humans ruined this world the animals and plants were having a great time but then after we started building they were living a horrible life. So this means we have to stop ruining animals' natural habitats. This drawing that I made is called Before and After because it looked good before than bad after. This took me about half an hour. I really enjoyed making this because I enjoy doing art. AI found this easy cause I knew what I was doing. Thank you for reading this have a great day and please go and check out my work below. Do you enjoy art? Thank you bye. From Eden.
Clara- Street art or crime
I think graffiti has many good and bad sides. I agree that street art and graffiti are very different things. Graffiti shouldn't be a crime all by itself but I think it should be a crime in many other ways. Lots of people use the term graffiti sometimes for vandalism such as someone writing stuff on a private piece of object. The difference between street art and graffiti is that street art looks more professional even tho both of them take a lot of time and effort. Usually, street art looks more realistic and mostly has more meaning. The man in the article should have been put in jail for the graffiti because what he did was illegal, just because they become famous artists after that it doesn't mean that they should have been put in jail.

Miro G- Snowball
After I made the blog about how to play snowball, I had to write a script so I could turn it into a video! I got some other people to act in it.
To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could have made more videos to explain it more.

Calais- Banksy
Banksy
Banksy is a graffiti artist and no one knows who he is and he is a famous artist and he calls himself Banksy when he turned 18 he went and painted a train with his mates down near the train station he started drawing flowers in vases and rats and other animals bits and now he draws a woman on a wall and it's pretty amazing how much work you put in the art the more it gets realistic and more people to admire it and want to do and make art but Banksy started off with graffiti and now others like his art it sells for a bit of money because no one knows his personal identity it is hidden and you might have seen Banksy but you thought it was some random and did not care so him keepping his identity make others think like me is he old is he young when did he start his art and lots more we don't know because it is hidden from the public and I think it was a good choice to kepp it a secret but he should have asked to paint in some of the places he did was illigal and should of never done some places if he was found he could of been sent away to a place called jail. I don't think Banksy should let anyone know his identity because that might of been famous because no one knows and you should not be arrested for graffiti because others might like it.

Banksy Artist Profile
This is my artist profile on Banksy. It was my 4th task for T-shaped literacy. I had to research him and transfer the information into an artist's profile.
My favorite part was looking at some of his artworks. The shredded 'Balloon Girl' is probably my favorite. The hardest part was adding more detail and information. If I could add one more thing, it would probably be added more about his personal life. To be BTB, I could have added more information.
Banksy Artist Profile
Banksy is the famous multi-millionaire street-artist who chooses to hide his real identity. People are still trying to figure out who he really is. Bansky started spray-painting walls in Bristol, 1990. Some of his most famous pieces sell for millions. The most famous artwork was painted in 2002, Girl with a Balloon. This painting depicts a girl with a red heart-shaped balloon. Whether you see the girl as losing the balloon, or about to catch it, the meaning can be interpreted as a loss of innocence or the arrival of new hope and love. This painting sold for 1.37 million dollars.
Many people think that Banksy's real name is Robin Gunningham, born in Yate, 19 km from Bristol, but other people are not so sure. Banksy’s identity is still mainly a mystery to the world. Banksy’s paintings are a symbol of hope and emotions, but also of what is wrong with the world. His work should bring comfort to the disturbed, and disturb the comfortable. Banksy’s paintings are normally spray-painted and stenciled.
Banksy is an artist, not a graffitist.

Kalani- Street Art or Graffiti
I've learned a lot about this topic like how graffiti is good for filling spaces that need filling and helping distract people like in Christchurch nowhere is everything
my thoughts are that it's fine as long as it doesn't actually harm someone it should mainly be used in all ways or places that people can see it but if it's not in anyone's way it's a cool and great thing to do but as long as it's not in the way of anything its fine and a cool thing that people do but where it because a crime is when you do it on someone's house without permission or on private property or on a vehicle without permission because then if they want to remove it they have to pay to do it and that could actually hurt them but as long and non of that happens or if you have permission it's cool and amazing what you can do with paint
and that is all I've learned and agreed with

The Tui- Lachlan
Tui
The tui
Tui is medium-sized, common, and widespread birds of the forest They look black from a distance, but in good light, tui has a blue, green, and bronze color to them and white throat tufts. They are usually very beautiful, with a mix of tuneful notes interspersed with coughs, grunts, and wheezes. In-flight, their bodies slant with the head higher than the tail, and their noisy whirring flight is interspersed with short glides.
The tui also has a good habit of singing in its surroundings. But they only sing when they have landed in a tree or on the ground.

Beatles- Taj
The Beatles statue
The Beatles were a rock band that made a lot of music and they were very successful and there is now a statue of them in Liverpool's Waterfront in December 2015 donated by Cavern Club. the statue is seven feet tall and weighs more than 1.2 tonnes. The statue was revealed to the public in 2015. When the Beatles Broke up in 1970 Lennon was shot and killed in December 1980 and Harrison died of lung cancer in November 2001. McCartney and Starr are still doing music.
Today my class did a Quiz and I wanted to do the Beatles statue and it was fun because now I know some stuff about the Beatles and it was a bit hard to because I did not know that much and it was sad because one of them got killed.

Miro G- Armageddon
Today we had to do a quiz about the current events and then research the thing one of the questions was about. The question I chose was, "Armageddon Expo celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. What is Armageddon expo?". I researched everything I could find about the convention. I would have added more but the school blocks the Armageddon site. To be BTB I could have searched more on different websites.

Position and direction
On Monday we began our unit on position and direction and started exploring the idea of Cartesian co-ordinates. We had a lot of fun trying to work out how to explain where we thought the counter was before adding any form of grid to our paper. We then learnt about René Descarte, the story of the fly and how he invented the Cartesian plane.
Today we were using the Cartesian plane method to mark treasure on a map of our school and then give directions. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the chocolate at the end of the treasure hunt!

Curtis' Facts about Matariki
There are more than 7 stars in the cluster if you look at a picture of it then you should be able to see more than 7 as proof.
the 7 stars are named Pleiades clusters, or seven sisters, or m45.
The 7 stars are all sibling but in the seven sisters myth, one is their mother.
The Pleiades star cluster is made from gas and dust some were 100 million years ago.
The Zuni of New Mexico call the Pleiade stars the (Seed Stars)
To see more than six or seven stars in the cluster you need to have very good eyesight.
Today for my literacy medals I have chosen to do the Matariki facts.
I liked how it was kind of easy.
I disliked that it was hard to find the facts.

Water Worries- Emily
water worries
It started where people had longer showers and after the Christchurch earthquake people learnt that water is one of our most basic needs
Where are we water from?
Like rivers ,streams, lakes, springs, and even rain water on the roof.
How is it dirty?
This means everything you put down your drain ends up in the water supply household: cleaners, paint, animals, waste this dirty water is then back in the water cycle.
Probables they had
They had their water slowly going away because there had been no rain for a wee while now. Many countries such as Australia already have serious water shortages. And some of the worlds biggest rivers are drying up. Although this hasn't happened in new Zealand, climate change has meant that our rainfall patterns are less reliable.
There solutions:
They have collected the sea water and Separated the salt to make the Water drinkable because There running out of water Scientists have been inspired by coastal plants that suck moisture from the sea fog.
Other water futures:
in the meantime you can help have shorter Showers always think about what your tipping down the drain turn off the tap when you are brushing your teeth and never Waste that glass of water
Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed
